Description
ASLAN Premium Floor protectiv laminate for indoor and outdoor floor graphics Perfect for use with ASLAN floor graphics digital printing films.
This transparent self-adhesive film is designed to protect digitally printed floor graphic films, both indoors and outdoors, from mechanical abrasion.
It is especially scratch- and tread-resistant.
Best used in conjunction with the printed films ASLAN DFP 46 and ASLAN DFP 49, it produces a sandwich structure that is fire-rated according to DIN EN-13501-1.
Premium FloorProtect ASLAN MP 300 comes with a very rough surface, meeting anti-slip class R12 as well as the DIN 51097 standard for slip resistance in wet barefoot areas.
This applies, inter alia, to reception areas, outside steps and guest rooms.
Face film: Plasticized PVC (monomeric softeners)
Thickness: ~ 140 μm
Adhesive: Acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive
Release liner: PE coated silicone cardboard
Application
Prior to laminating the print must be dried-out at least 48 hours.
Small glass particles on the surface make the film especially rough and slightly sanding. Due
to the production process there might occur small black particles in the film. They do not
influence the functionality and are nearly invisible if it is applied on the floor. For mechanical
laminating processes we recommend to protect the rollers of the laminator with a protection film.
The film should be applied with the ASLAN Application Roll or a plastic squeegee without
felt edge
Cleaning
We recommend to clean the film with a mop. The product is resistant against standard floor
detergents. The use of a scrubber dryer is also possible. For a partial cleaning a wet cloth
can be used.
If applied outdoors it can also be cleaned with a pressure washer. Please note that a
sufficient distance has to be held and that the edges are not put under too strong pressure in
order to avoid that the edges peel off. Rough surfaces are more difficult to clean than smooth
surfaces.
Storage
Before application the films can be stored up to 2 years from date of production. The film
must be stored at room temperature (15-25 °C / 59-77 °F) and at a relative air humidity of 50-
60%. To avoid pressure points appearing on the roll surface, we recommend the rolls be
stored either standing vertically or in a purposely designed `hanging ́ racks.
